At Murwillumbah Public School students across the school are regularly engaged in the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Recently, as part of a school-wide writing task, students created, wrote and published their own Aboriginal stories, in the style of a traditional Dreamtime Story. Some of these stories have been so impressive they have been sent off as entrants in a state-wide writing competition for NAIDOC week.
Congratulations to all of the students who created interesting and engaging Dreamtime Stories. A few have been shared here on our website, and can be viewed by clicking on the titles below.
