Here at Murwillumbah Public School we have an "Open Door" policy. We welcome parents are caregivers into our school and classrooms every day.
We think we have a pretty amazing school and love to involve our families and community members into our school culture.
There are many different ways you can be involved in our school. From volunteering in the canteen, helping in classrooms, assisting the P&C or sharing a special skill, we invite you to be a part of our school in a way that makes you feel comfortable.
Our school canteen is always needing volunteers. You can contact the school office on 66721467 to volunteer your time!
The P&C Committee meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month. More information about becomming involved with the P&C can be found on the left of this article.
Your child's classroom teacher would love to have you visit the classroom. If you have some special skills you would like to share in culture, environmental education, science, health, art or any other area we would love to arrange a time to share your knowledge and skills with the children. If you would prefer to assist in reading groups or in classroom displays there is always plenty to do in a busy classroom!
